New Job Opening – Advertising Sales Executive

Our sales representatives are responsible for marketing our products and services to potential clients through cold calls, direct mail (both printed and electronic), campaigns and self directed lead generation. Qualifications:

We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic and experienced advertising sales representative. This person will be responsible for overseeing the marketing and selling of the entire online ad inventory available on www.mensajetv.com. This will include pursuing new clients, expanding relationships with existing clients by offering advertising inventory on www.mensajetv.com, e-newsletter and other online revenue generating opportunities. Successful candidates must have great understanding of the market we serve, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), experience in online advertising sales and developing advertising models. This person must have a track record that demonstrates an ability to close deals. This position will require cold calling, handling of inbound calls. A B.S. or B.A in business, communication and/or marketing is preferred. Fluency in both Spanish and English preferred.

New Job Opening – Mensaje Divino Web Content Editor (Bi-lingual)

Mensaje Media has an immediate opening for a bi-lingual Web Content Editor with strong technical and creative writing abilities to help generate and coordinate content for our growing faith-based websites. The ideal candidate is a versatile and talented writer who feels comfortable writing both technical and creative pieces. This position will be responsible for working with the Web Team to create and maintain various forms of web content, such as news, features, editorials and announcements. The ideal candidate has an in depth knowledge of the Christian community and the ability to weave this knowledge into compelling web content. The Web Content Editor understands what appeals to the Faith Community and can creatively provide suggestions for content that will be useful and interesting to the community. The candidate must also be a great verbal communicator and have the ability to organize and interact effectively with an international network of freelance writers.

Requirements

  • Excellent English and Spanish creative and technical writing ability
  • Ability to proof-read and edit text with mastery of Spanish and English grammar
  • Broad knowledge of the Christian community across denominational and theological lines
  • Strong PC skills and general knowledge of Internet technology
  • Strong verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Personal or professional experience creating and writing content for web sites

Plusses:

  • Knowledge and ability in web design and related tools (HTML, Javascript, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.)
  • Writing samples provided as links to published web content that is currently online which was written by the applicant (Personal blog content OK). It can also be provided in document form and attached to your application email. Ideally, writing samples should pertain in some way to the Faith Community.
